SAT Tutoring in Northeast Ohio
We are based in Northeast Ohio, so we teach on your schedule rather than three time zones from it. Sessions are online, which means a student in Canton and a student in Rocky River get the same tutor and the same tracking.
In Ohio, the SAT is usually a choice — not the default
Ohio requires every district to give all eleventh graders a college admission test each spring, and the state pays for it. What most families do not realise is that the district chooses which test, and across Ohio that choice is very often the ACT.
So if your child sat the ACT at school and you are now looking at the SAT, you are making a deliberate decision rather than following a default. That is frequently the right call — some students simply score better on the SAT, and the digital format suits students who work carefully more than the ACT rhythm does. But it means the SAT will not arrive on a school-provided date. You have to book it, plan around it, and prepare for it on purpose.
It also means the free school-day test is genuinely useful as a baseline even if it is the other test. It tells us about pacing and stamina under real conditions, which transfers.

Where students here tend to apply
Case Western Reserve, Ohio State, Miami University and Kent State come up constantly, along with John Carroll, Baldwin Wallace, Oberlin and the College of Wooster. Several of these superscore, which changes whether a second sitting is worth booking — worth deciding early rather than in October.
How it works
- A short call, then a full official practice test your child sits at home in Bluebook. Free, and we log every question on it.
- Two free one-hour sessions spent on what that test showed. No card, no deposit.
- Regular sessions after that, if you want them — the same tutor every time.
The full version is on the homepage, including what gets tracked and why we only score official College Board tests.
We teach across the country. Also written up: Central Massachusetts.
