SAT Tutoring in Central Massachusetts
We already teach students in Massachusetts, on Eastern time, so evening sessions land where they should rather than at the end of somebody else’s working day. Everything is online — Worcester, Shrewsbury and Westborough are all the same distance from us.
With MCAS off the table, the SAT carries more of the weight
Massachusetts voters removed the MCAS graduation requirement in 2024, and the Class of 2026 graduates against coursework requirements instead. Students still sit MCAS, but the result no longer gates a diploma.
For families that quietly used MCAS as a reading on where their child stood against the state, that signal is gone. The SAT is now one of very few external, comparable benchmarks left — which raises the stakes on a test that was already doing a lot of work in a state this competitive.
It also makes a full official practice test more valuable than it used to be, because it is now one of the only honest measurements available before the real thing.

Where students here tend to apply
WPI, Holy Cross, Clark, UMass Amherst, Worcester State and Assumption come up most often, alongside applications out of state. WPI is test-optional and has been for years, which is worth thinking through properly rather than assuming it settles the question — a strong score still helps at plenty of the schools on the same list.
How it works
- A short call, then a full official practice test your child sits at home in Bluebook. Free, and we log every question on it.
- Two free one-hour sessions spent on what that test showed. No card, no deposit.
- Regular sessions after that, if you want them — the same tutor every time.
The full version is on the homepage, including what gets tracked and why we only score official College Board tests.
We teach across the country. Also written up: Northeast Ohio.
